To be fair I think I’d prefer the laissez-faire attitude of stewards rather than the hands on approach we’ve been seeing the last few years.

Well for me as a long term asthmatic, the stink from the yellow flair was the more offensive thing, but unless the stewarding is improved at the turnstiles there is no chance of catching these or the odd plastic bottle top getting through. I suppose the scrotes, to use the term for ***** invented on "Porridge", would mark it down as a victory for them that they could defy the stewarding and be free to have a laugh at authority. Maybe Pritti Patel should come up with some draconian system? I jest of course.

When I did the 50/50 BCE (Before Covid Entered) the stewards had a table just inside the ground and used to pat everyone down and search all bags. I guess they're not allowed to get up close and personal anymore due to the change in circumstances.
