Re: Playoff games
I'd just say, be thankful you have a ticket and stand/seat where you booked. Interestingly, Chesterfield are kicking off about their proposed allocation which has still to be released. Looking at their forum we are being called all sorts of things. Perhaps they shud read the league rules which clearly stipulate the minimum allocation for away fans. Grimsby fans have been given 1200 tickets for the wrexham game that equates to c11% of the ground capacity. Based on our capacity a 600 allocation is par for the course!! COYM

a link to the chesterfield fans forum if you fancy a laugh.
they are acting like we are lying about selling out the home end and we have actually only have sold 12 tickets for the semi final in the home end and are just trying gain an advantage by limiting the amount of away fans there are at the game

Re: Playoff games
The Chesterfield forum is quite a read! More fake news than Trump,Fox News, Kremlin and Daily Mail combined.
So many variations on what our capacity actually is and how many tickets we ARE actually giving them.
I don't understand why their tickets are not yet on sale. I would love to know the official capacity for this match, how many home tickets have been sold and how many have been allocated to Chesterfield.
We finished 3rd and they were 7th so we have home advantage so only have to give them 10% but knowing our club, they will get more than the minimum which will never please them anyway.
At least there is no opportunity for away fans infiltrating the home stands.
Those who are lucky enough to get a ticket are likely to be quite vitriolic towards us as so we need to be one voice and drown them out.

Oof, a lot salty, entitled pricks on there, with only a handful of posters acknowledging that their allocation meets the requirements set out by the NL and that the home allocation has sold out.
Also some total misinformation... folk pointing out that there were "only" 3000-odd at the play-off semi against Fylde. That match was before the main stand was rebuilt when the capacity was only 3000-odd! Still, some folk don't like to let facts get in the way of a bit of self-righteous outrage.

Re: Playoff games
From all the moaning you might think Chesterfield had shifted itself into Yorkshire.

Re: Playoff games
That forum is hilarious…. So many things I’d love to post on there.
Firstly, it’s their own fault that they are in such a “!@#$ league” playing little “tin pot” Solihull.
Secondly, are they forgetting who finished above who here… and by some distance? Why dafuq would we change the location of the fixture to another local stadium, when we’ve earned the right to play at home?
Thirdly….. can we just fookin beat these Tossers on Sunday please? Winning games against these types of outfits make it feel a whole lot sweeter! The entitled are at it again!

I can bring the print-outs if Ardley wants his team talk sorted in one.

Re: Playoff games
The entitled, oh my God they should have gone out of business and be no more.
Christ such a massive club, quite right they shouldn't be in this league, they should be in the North division, nearly got relegated into regional division first season after THEY WERE RELEGATED FROM THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE.... oh that's why you're in this League...
Dont they sound funny though, no idea of the truth, so they just make it up.

Not really, it’s just common sense.
All the home spaces have been sold.
Let’s say we are kicking towards the Forest End (old DrainTech End) in the first half and I have a ticket for that end, then who should move in the Jerroms End so that I can stand there in the second half?

Re: Playoff games
What is it about fans from clubs with ‘Chester’ in their name? So very salty and some of the totally exaggerated and unwarranted digs at Moors are hilarious. I think it’s in large part down to the bad blood from our winning trip there back in February. Don’t think we’ll be on their Christmas card list this year!
