Found a dozen of these, maybe we could mount one at each turnstile plus a couple at the entrance to the ground, only £98 each.

Yes, supporter consultation would have meant more time would have been needed to come to the final design, however they could have made an announcement in February for people to submit opinions and designs with the club.

Re: The Badge

New rules introduced by the FA regarding clubs making changes to their badges, team colours etc.

https://www.thefa.com/news/2022/aug/05/protecting-club-heritage-20220805

About a month too late for Moors fans unfortunately... wonder if the club knew these new rules were on the horizon!?

Now I’m not a massive fan of the new badge but not sure the FA should be able to govern changes to kits, badges etc.

I interpreted the rules such that the FA require clubs to provide evidence that they have consulted with the fan base on issues relating to changes to badges and kit colours, so it's the fans who have the power to veto changes, rather than the FA.

Re: The Badge

So this new rule would account for the haste and the botched job of designing a new crest.

Agreed, however, paragraph 5 then goes on to say if found in breach the FA can take appropriate action such as ordering a club to revert back to a previous crest etc. Not that it affects us anyway🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️😂😂
