Lots of enthusiasm from the youths but they need quite a few hours of work in a gym to build up their strength as they couldn't compete physically even in a friendly. Please could we have a team sheet for the game on thursday. nondisclosed_email@example.com (RoJ)Wed, 29 Jul 2009 16:30:36 +0000 Re: Alvechurch 2-2 Solihull Moorshttps://bsolihullmoors.runboard.com/p479,from=rss#post479https://bsolihullmoors.runboard.com/p479,from=rss#post479Very much doubt that I will make it to the game tomorrow - in fact I wouldn't even give myself a 1% chance. I'll go up to the club tonight and drop it in there for you for tomorrow.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Statto)Wed, 29 Jul 2009 16:23:21 +0000 Re: Alvechurch 2-2 Solihull Moorshttps://bsolihullmoors.runboard.com/p478,from=rss#post478https://bsolihullmoors.runboard.com/p478,from=rss#post478Had to say did not recognise many of the players particularly in the 2nd. half. The no. 11 on the left wing looked promising but cannot see many of the youth set up having the necessary physical strength at our level. Good to see Tim Gould back to fitness he could be a big plus this season. No doubt over the next three games we will see a more experienced line up which will be more like the possible line up on the 8th August.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Doubledees1)Wed, 29 Jul 2009 15:30:12 +0000 Re: Alvechurch 2-2 Solihull Moorshttps://bsolihullmoors.runboard.com/p477,from=rss#post477https://bsolihullmoors.runboard.com/p477,from=rss#post477i forgot to have the flag off you. will you make it tomorrownondisclosed_email@example.com (Psycho Mouse)Wed, 29 Jul 2009 14:52:42 +0000 Alvechurch 2-2 Solihull Moorshttps://bsolihullmoors.runboard.com/p476,from=rss#post476https://bsolihullmoors.runboard.com/p476,from=rss#post476A late penalty from Ross Dempster maintained Solihull Moors unbeaten run during their pre-season campaign. Moors had taken the lead on eight minutes through a Junior English header and the score remained the same until half time. Alvechurch, who compete in the Midland Football Alliance, got out of the blocks quicker in the second half and two quick fire goals saw them turn the game on its head and give them the lead. However, it was left to Dempster who had the final say, converting from the spot after he, himself, was fouled. Although to many observers, it looked like the offence had been committed outside the area. Attendance: 97 (According to Tandy) HT: 0 - 1 FT: 2 - 2 Next up for the Moors is the visit of a Birmingham City XI on Thursday 30th July 2009.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Statto)Wed, 29 Jul 2009 10:29:24 +0000
