Re: Pre season friendlies

I would hope that we might get an extra home friendly as only two seems a bit mean, plus it does not give much opportunity for people to pay for Season Tickets.

Would have also been good to have a "distant" away game, against either a Conference South or Evo Stik (Northern or Southern) side. Looking forward to Hinckley as they have a decent bunch of supporters.

Stourbridge share their ground with a cricket team. As such, they are unable to play any games at home until September 1st.

Is Solihull vs Stratford the most middle class football fixture ever? Sounds like a bowls game. I can imagine the riot police confiscating people's cucumber sandwiches.

I reckon compared to most conference saarf fixtures Solihull v Stratford is still relatively oik friendly. It must be; I've been to a Stratford v Moors game before and so has Tandy emoticon

Cheers Statto, I thought it was probably down to the cricket.

Stratford's ground isn't exactly in the nicest part of town either.
