Solihull Moors 2 Telford United 1

After a bright start with 2 early goals, this game turned into a hard fought battle so well done to the lads for holding out for the 3 points and a 7 point lead at the top of the [sign in to see URL] was 670.

The first 45 minutes was entertaining both on the pitch and for the side show of a session of verbals close by the toilets. Hope the kids around the area didn't think that this was mature, sensible or acceptable [sign in to see URL] well taken goals, and a decent enough take by Telford. A frustrating second half to watch. I think we were lucky to have held on to the 3 points as we gave away the ball routinely after half time.
Nice to see Martyr today as his boys match down at Bideford had been called off, but he didn't explain why he hadn't told H about last week's game being postponed. No consistency there [sign in to see URL] a grip will you.

Telford were a decent side and nobody would argue they were worthy of a point at least. We gave the ball away a bit too cheaply today, especially the second half. Having said that, we battled hard for the win so full credit for that.

7 clear [sign in to see URL] nice to build an even better lead over the next [sign in to see URL] things first, 3 points at Gainsborough please.

So the 2nd visit of the season from the Somerset supporters branch!!! Well cant comment to much on this game as due to a blow out on the motorway and a hour wait on the hard shoulder in the rain for the aa. and then 5 mins from the ground getting hit by a woman driver up the rear!!! meant I missed the first 25 mins and the 2 goals. So after a round trip of 290 miles and missing the 2 goals, I agree wasn't that impressed but we might have been world beaters in what I missed. Anyway Gloucester away is next trip and hopefully less eventful journey! COYM!

Getting goals early at home is important and we're doing that emoticon Danny Lewis made some good saves towards the end, when Telford put the pressure on. I'm assuming Siegrist is out long term.
