Re: McDonald Out!

Some of them were poor players all along. Let's be brutally honest.

I'm not certain that many of the players brought in post-Bignot would have improved last season's squad at all.

Neyse, we can only wait and see what happens now. The team has put in some strong performances when confidence was high. I wouldn't be shouting from the rooftops about the FGR game because I think, if we're honest with ourselves, we only looked good in spells in that game. Nevertheless, there ought to be enough there to see us through, with luck on our side. Currently can't see us winning any game we concede first in, though.

MOOR5:

We outplayed Forest Green , especially in the second half.

Crap referee, but vicious attacking play , in second half.

We held the fort , with sporadic attacks in first half.

Moors supporters that night, were noisy in voice too.

Roll on this Friday.

I was there, I saw the game, and I happen to disagree.

We had a decent spell for 10 minutes in the first half, but FGR mainly dominated us easily in the first 45. We looked really good for half an hour in the second half, as FGR struggled to deal with Dapo and Sterling together, but didn't take our chances and were punished. (I don't particularly remember the ref having a bad night, either.)

The FGR performance was mainly good. A similar performance would have seen us beat Barrow and Torquay, but the opposite happened. I think the fans and squad alike now need to let the FGR game go and move on. It is neither the world beating performance nor the catastrophe it is being made out to be.

I remember calling for Marcus' head when he lost the first seven games on the bounce, unfortunately I sense deja vu rearing its ugly head, this management team wouldn't last ten minutes in Conference North so as they say "cream finds its own level, so does !@#$". Hello Evo-stick!

Re: McDonald Out!

Why would you want a manager who's just been sacked?

Why would you get rid of Liam with only 4 games left? Saying it's crazy for Grimsby to get rid of Marcus, we'd be getting rid of Liam after a shorter period.

I think we should be having these talks in May, not now less than a week before a massive must not lose game against York.

Need to stick together and make sure we support the lads. We lost 6-0 last season, and we bounced back. We can do the same on Friday

A day of sporting disappointment for me. This dreadful scoreline is the most shocking, but Blues losing to a sucker goal in injury time (I saw this unfortunately), and Bears following on down at Surrey. I think villa won too. Am I a Jonah for sports teams? Should I stay away from the York game?

If not for Moors' result it would have been the perfect day, eh RoJ? emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Whether you are behind liam or not we need to look at the bigger picture we have four cup finals coming up, with this fridays one of the biggest of the season! We dont need to be moaning at the players we need to be behind them from the get go, york are going to bring a few and are going to be up for it! We have to get behind the lads and be more vocal than ever form start to finish as they have said before it means a lot ! COYM
