FREE SHUTTLE COACH SERVICE IN PLACE FOR WYCOMBE TIE
Solihull Moors can announce travel details for our home tie with Wycombe Wanderers in the Emirates FA Cup first round – Sunday 5th November 2pm kick-off.
A FREE shuttle coach service has been put in place both before and after the match to make travel from Solihull town centre to The Automated Technology Group Stadium easier for all. This will be made available to both sets of supporters.
There will be three trains arriving at Solihull Railway Station from High Wycombe: 10:44,11:44,12:44.
There are then four shuttle coach departure times from Solihull Railway Station: 11:50,12:20,12:50,13:15.
Each coach will also stop off in the town centre on (Beech House pub bus stop) Warwick Road at 11:55,12:25,12:55,13:20.
The drop off point will be the bus stop on Damson Lane. This is a short two minute walk from the ground.
After the match
The shuttle bus service departs from outside the ground on Damson Parkway at 16:05,16:35 and 17:00. The bus will once again stop in Solihull town centre and then Solihull Railway Station.
Journey time on the shuttle bus is approximately 15 minutes each way.
Trains depart for High Wycombe from Solihull at 16:04,17:04,18:04 and 19:04.
*Places on the shuttle coach services will be on a first come first served basis.
**There is no alcohol to be brought on board.
The club would like to give a huge thank you to Jono Hall at the Solihull Moors Supporters Association for organising this service.

Re: FREE SHUTTLE COACH SERVICE IN PLACE FOR WYCOMBE TIE
It is absolutely great that something has been done, after I had pointed out that the X12 is less frequent on Sundays.
But it seems that there will be just one physical coach, whereas I suspect that three coaches doing the shuttling might be required.
In short there might still be problems moving everyone.
I hope I am wrong. Only time will tell.

Not wishing to knock the efforts of the people organising these buses, but I can see problems arising with the fact there is a second pick up point. If it first come, first served and the bus gets full at the train station, surely this means that no-one will be picked up from the Beech House. Would it not be worthwhile just picking up from the station ?

Re: FREE SHUTTLE COACH SERVICE IN PLACE FOR WYCOMBE TIE
Previous points are noted but this initiative is nor without risk. Do we spend several hundred pounds and put on several coached for an untested service or trial a service for a big game and use it as an exercise to work from in the future.
It is first come first served. Some on the runs will be busier than others. The 11:50 and 12:50 are times in line with the trains so maybe there will be more space on the other 2.
Obviously Id like it if as many of you as possible take advantage of this free service and you let me know what you think in the days after tha match.
I hope it works for as many people as possible and goes some way to easing congestion on Sunday 😀

Re: FREE SHUTTLE COACH SERVICE IN PLACE FOR WYCOMBE TIE
Again Jono, not knocking your efforts, I think it is a great idea and I really hope it works, I really do. I just think that maybe a solitary pick up point would have sufficed.

Re: FREE SHUTTLE COACH SERVICE IN PLACE FOR WYCOMBE TIE
The point us surely that potentially hundreds will travel by train to Solihull rail station, and the free coach service will be massively unable to cope.
If a coach means 50+ seats, possible to switch to a double decker bus? If we are talking Johnsons I believe they do have.
