Going back to Psycho Mouse about learning to adapt into the society we live in.
If everyone did that, we would still have slavery,we would still have lynching ,beheading , hanging & other forms of barbaric executions our ancestors committed. We as humans must always try to better our society.
Tandy..did you have to tell them the political party you supported when applying for Question Time.
What I find ironic ,is during this phase of capitalism, the world is at . We are one of the few countries who still have State TV eg: the BBC
what i meant was that change can't be instigated quickly and without a majority of the population.
they did ask me for my political preference, but i just said i was undecided.
and the BBC is not state TV. HALF of its money is from the licence fee, which is not government funded, its from the taxpayer. and the other half comes from advertising, bbc america, etc all have adverts on them.
its what a media a-level can tell you

And I'm guessing you got the change thing from sociology.
You're a regular jack of all trades today.

Does a Media A-level tell you that if a company is not funded privately eg: shareholders, but is funded by the people eg: TV licence payers , taxpayers & regulated by the Government, it is owned by the state (people). That is why OAPs have been sent to prison for refusing to pay their TV licence ,because it is money owed to the state,in the same way Lester Piggott was sent to jail for trying to avoid paying the income tax he owed.
I agree it will take probably centuries before we get a fair & just Society, but this should not stop fair minded people aiming for such Utopia.

Re: Another passing away..
Small advances aren't disastrous; we're disappointed because we aim high: we know how it could be, so we know how far short we are falling.
