Saturday

Undecided about whether to drive to Telford on Saturday as there is a certain team that plays in blue kicking off early and therefore throwing a spanner in the works of my travelling plans.
Looks quite easy to get to by train to Wellington, anyone know if we can watch the blues game at the NBH or a pub nearby to check out (or more likely avoid?!)
Oh and Statto still no predictions this week tut tut - forgot to remind you on Tuesday was too busy admiring Johnson's penalty taking skills or did he confuse it for the crossbar challenge?

I am not going to be able to avoid knowing the Blues result so will have to watch it live. I don't think it will be possible to do the Telford game as well as I want to be sure I see the cup game. Its a shame but Blues only get to this stage of the cup rarely, and to be quite honest I don't like Telford over much anyway.
Keith thought he would get the game in the bar at the ground but I don't know if this is possible or not.

It's going to be a boring game, just watch MOTD. The Moors will be so much better, winning at Telford, c'mon!! You're only going to regret it

I thought I'd nail my claret and blue colours to the mast and say that I hope we both get through to Wembley and then avoid each other in the semis. Good luck from the dark side to the other Brum team.

Re: Saturday

I shall phone Telford again tomorrow ,to see if its possible to watch the Blues game at the ground.
In any case I will try & get to the ground at about 11.45am & find the nearest pub, where the match is on.
If I get any info I will post it on here tomorrow,if this computer will let me.
I am having a few technical problems.

Re: Saturday

Thanks Joel...got a front row seat a the Learning Centre ,but then witnessed an unlucky exit from the cup by the Blues, after controlling the game for long periods, they were let down by the two lino's ,no offside for Pompey's first goal & a goal for the Blues, that was a foot over the line.Poor performances by McFadden & Faherty also let them down.

After that it was an exellent seat, high in the stand ,by the half way line,to watch the Moors get a good result in a poor match & on a poor pitch. There was about 20 minutes good football altogether by both teams, the rest was mainly head tennis & hoofaball.Aaron Farrell had a poor debut & Ryan Amoo got his marching orders, for a stupid hand in the face gesture,he had a poor game,so it was probably just frustration.

So although I had two good seats for both match's, it did not quite live up to the Saturday I was hoping for.

I would take a draw at Telford regardless of the performance.
