Solihull Moors 0 Boreham Wood 0
Well a bitty first half that brought a couple of fine saves from Wood's keeper and Kwame Thomas being polaxed from an elbow resulting in a five minute stoppage. Second half Moors were on it and outplayed Boreham despite their professionalism in collapsing every time anyone went near them and elbowing and holding like demented pensioners at a jumble sale. They barely tested O'Leary until near the end whereas Moors caused all sorts of problems to Wood's defence and if that is how they normally play I can only surmise that their league position flatters them immensely. It wasn't that they played badly but they weren't really very creative or dangerous in the main. On another day we would have walked off with a win.

I have good vibes for Maidenhead.
Wonder if Theresa May of Maidenhead will bring along Damien Green to the Match...
Or they may be at the local Xmas Swingers Party.
Come on you Moors !!!.
⚽✌

Can't believe he took Storer off to bring on the totally ineffective Carline.
These are the type of games we need to win so taking off strikers is ridiculous.
That decision totally pissed me off for the rest of the match

Points at home now are pretty useless. May as well lose by having a go. We are cut adrift now and need wins.

Re: Solihull Moors 0 Boreham Wood 0
To someone who did not know that Boreham Wood are 7th in the table and we are 24th, they could have thought it was the other way round on that performance.
A draw was probably a fair result as Boreham Wood did have a goal disallowed for a push on our defender and I have seen pushes like that ignored by some referees and a goal given.
First time I have seen Jamie Reckord and was impressed by his performance, just beating Jamey Osborne to my Man if the Match award.

I think we bought George on to try and add something in the air as Dapo and Storer are short, however we did seem to lose the edge when he went off.
Storer looked good, Reckord been good in the last 2 games

Pretty accurate I'd say. Amazed the Bores are just outside the playoffs given todays performance. Did they have attempt on goal? Second half performance first rate - just shame there wasn't a goal to cap it off.
Didn't think the visitors were any worse than any others I've seen in terms of physicality though.

Carline was superb in the air, winning virtually every high ball aimed in his direction. In my opinion the mistake was leaving Dapo on, he was fairly ineffective throughout, Storer was causing problems and might well have been able to get on the end of a knockdown, which Dapo seemed unable to anticipate.
