Re: Please read
Almost entirely agree, Statto. I think in part, without singling out individuals, some of the disagreement over the past few months has been a case of younger/newer fans struggling to come to terms with Moors having a first really difficult patch in a long while.
Where I do disagree is about long-term planning. At this stage it is so unlikely that we will make it to 51 points that we have to look at planning for being back in the North next season. That doesn't mean giving up completely on this season and taking a hammer to the squad, but I think for the good of the club we need to start identifying transfer targets for the summer in line with our expectations of where we want to finish in the North next season. We should also put any plans to go full-time on the backburner unless we pull off the impossible and mount a great escape. We're struggling enough to compete financially as it is, without the burden of being relegated as a full-time club.

Re: Please read
At last a voice of reason well done stat as for full time hasn't anyone noticed that the lads are still going strong at the end of matches since training three days a week coincidence I don't think so to compete which we are look at the stats we losing by the odd goal so it is possible still to rectify this we have to remain posative both the board and the administration and more importantly the fans

Yep. Agree with all,the points that you make Statto 100%.
Criticism is an expression of frustration by people who care. I am as guilty as anyone. Unfortunatly doesnt help at all.
We can help kick start the season with as big a turnout as we can manage in the first home match. We should all get behind the team, get that win, confidence will flow and we can build from there.
Great news that Jamie is staying for a bit longer.

Re: Please read
Nice sentiments but goals win matches and we don't score any.
Unless we find two decent strikers were going down as the current ones haven't got a goal in them.

Any Striker needs ammunition to score, our strikers have been starved to death, no creativity in the middle to create chances for them I'm afraid.

Re: Please read
@BigWolf, you are one of the few here with football sense. A lot of the guys here just talk absolute rubbish which they are entitled to since they pay 15pounds a game.
They were all asking for Asante to come back as Dapo was not scoring. Asante has not score a single goal non created any that i am aware since the dancing on the street welcome party when he was announced to be coming back. How on earth, do you expect Dapo to score after spending most of the game chasing down defenders with limited support from team mate.
Now you have Jamey who was suppose to be the best creative midfielder in this league, we have not won any league game since his arrival. The strikers cannot score goals from thin air, it is annoying reading tosh from this chat room.
The strikers are not the problem as I have mentioned before, the problem is the creative midfielder who is not here to prove a point to his parent club but here to help us win games to move up the league.
We do not need strikers, we need a midfielder to provide service to the strikers, not the silly high balls they are playing for a knock down, play football on the floor.
I doubt if this will ever happen as we are now in relegation battle and most managers will rather play route one football in the scenario that we have found ourselves.
Good Luck but I can see NLN or NLS next season.

Personally, I find reading sanctimony more annoying, but each to their own.
