Old Trafford is a " quiet " ground ( once again ! )

Jose Mourinho unhappy with their supporters...

Solihull Moors in a smallish stadium , now often creates an incredible atmosphere.

This comes down, to making the effort and the fact we have retained standing , together with seating.

It would be interesting going to hear what away supporters think of our ambience.

Hopefully a positive one.

ManUre are a commercial success selling to those who want to support a successful team, Glory Hunters. Apologies to those who claim to support them who follow Moors but they don't have a community feel now as the followers are spread throughout the world part a global brand without a soul. I am not surprised that they are quiet, its jet lag.

A few years ago there was a survey of premier league clubs to see what percentage of supporters within a few miles of the ground attended the games. Manchester United were second highest beaten only by Southampton. On this basis Roj is possibly talking bollocks but then what would a Bumminghim City fan know?

Fake news. Man Utd actually came out bottom of a 2016 YouGov poll on localism. See here.

The sample sizes for these sorts of polls are smaller than many Premier League attendances, so I'm sceptical about how much they really tell us. And of course identifying as a 'fan' doesn't necessarily mean going to games. United could quite easily be in a position where they have a high proportion of followers nationwide, but the bulk of their actual attendance comes from people in the North West. I can't find any trace of a survey putting United second behind Southampton, though.

I most certainly can have a stab at taking bollox with the best of them. My dislike of ManUre is second only to the pink and baby blue history boys over in Staffordshire, in fact it might be more as at least villa don't have Mourinho.
