I hadn't realised what a state Nuneaton Borough are in until I read this:
In my twenty or so years of following The Moors I've seen several clubs either go to the wall or drop several divisions down the pyramid. Off the top of my head I can think of Stafford Rangers, Hinckley United, Vauxhall Motors, Droylsden, Worcester City, Hereford United, Torquay United, Farsley Celtic, to name but a few. Now Nuneaton Borough look to be the latest following the path of the others, according to this article from The Non-League Paper.
Nuneaton Borough stare oblivion in the eye.

Good.
This is the second time they’ll be extinct. Maybe they’ll reform again as AFC Nuneaton Borough Town Athletic 1889 and have another 8 years before it happens again.

Some of Their supporters are idiots. But i do feel sorry for MOST of them. Not nice if your a supporter of a club that is in trouble.

Re: I hadn't realised what a state Nuneaton Borough are in until I read this:
As well as all that, they are currently in the relegation zone in National League North.
Also it amazes me the way Tamworth have tumbled. They used to be one league above Moors, and now they are two below. Not only that their results this season are not good, for example losing at home last Saturday to relegation-zone Redditch. Yes the likes of Ryan Beswick, Akwai Asante, Jordan Gough, Joel Kettle etc are not doing the business for Tamworth this season.

Re: I hadn't realised what a state Nuneaton Borough are in until I read this:
Beswick isn't the same player he was five years ago. Kettle was never that good for us at this level. Asante is crocked. Gough can't win games by himself from his position. But I think the main problems at Tamworth are off the pitch, much as at Nuneaton.
I don't take any pleasure in seeing other sides struggling financially. We've been close to that more than once, and could easily be back there again with a bit of bad luck or the wrong leadership at the top. Karma has a habit of coming around.
