Re: Early bird season tickets

Just a note concerning concessions for those in receipt of Disability Living Allowance middle or higher rate care component. DLA is being superceded by Personal Independance Payment and there are only two rates, lower and higher. Many, if not most, DLA recipients have been moved over to PIP. There is no mention of concessions for those in receipt of PIP, which is the replacement benefit for DLA. Both benefits also have a mobility component (DLA has three levels and PIP has two levels) but there is no mention of concessions for these components.

What is the benefit of buying an early-bird season ticket?

Does the ST price go up after the early-bird offer ends?

Does the early-bird ST cover home pre-season friendlies as it did this season?

It's great to see that they have announced the prices now regardless of which division we're in next season, but it's not clear what you miss out on by not buying/renewing before the early-bird deadline passes.

And at £3 a shot 21 visits for the season comes to £63.
That's not a saving with it priced at £100 for the season.
Also what happens when its full...are you coming today. The gate gets locked.
Tough on those paying £100.

Re: Early bird season tickets

This season was £230 for "standard" season ticket (i.e. no allocated seat, no concession). The price was the same for early-bird and non-early-bird. The early-bird benefit was that it covered the 3 pre-season home games (although one of these was cancelled)

How it compares to other clubs, it's not at the cheap end or the expensive end, as far as I can tell.

Regarding the £100 car park space, I assume that "allocated car parking space" means you have a reserved parking space so you are guaranteed to be able to park at every home game, hence the premium.

Also, I'm not sure if they "policed" the non-early-bird STs at the pre-season games - i.e. if you'd bought a season ticket after the early-bird deadline, you could probably still have used it at the pre-season friendlies as this wasn't questioned at the gate.

Do people actually go to every home game, most people miss a couple or three for holidays etc, once you've taken missed games into account it's not worth getting one.
