New stands !! Up quick
At Harrogate standing terraces as well, look very neat. Can we have one so we can stand.
And extend the one behind the goal in front of the tuck shop. Remove wall and extend the retracing. Too many gaps. These were never designed just thrown together haphazard.

I really find the terracing at the Tuck Shop end dreadful since the banning of the standing at the bar below. It is basicaslly two broad steps not terracing and in a large crowd you are almost inevitably going to get your view blocked. Not for me anymore.

Re: New stands !! Up quick
Agree that the new standing terrace at Harrogate looks very good and would welcome something similar at Moors.
Also agree that the standing "experience" in the Tuck Shop End has gone downhill significantly since they stopped people from standing at the front. I suspect the change was due to the need to have adequate clear gangways to enable evacuation, to meet league standards. The current layout of the Tuck Shop End only allows access to each section from an opening at either end. I wonder if 1 or 2 more additional entry/exit points along the back of each section might be sufficient to allow standing at the front again.

Agreed. The atmosphere in the shed end has been nonexistent since the change. The drain end has a much better atmosphere as fans are a lot closer together. I would suggest attacking the drain end second half when possible unless something is changed at the shed end.

Don't make me laugh, if we were any closer together at the Tuck Shop end we'd all be coupling.

Re: New stands !! Up quick
You only get two banks of fans in the Shed end now. You used to get 5 or 6 when it was busy. Atmosphere would have been miles better in the last few games if these changes hadn't been made.

I can vouch for unwanted bodily contact in the Tuck Shop End, even after the recent changes - if anything they've made matters worse as people have to pile onto the steps without overspill against the pitchside barrier.

Re: New stands !! Up quick
Yes I pointed this out When it was first implementated, just two banks of too large steps means no presence no support and if everyone goes in that wants too then difficulty seeing as it's obvious that two people per step can fit and that is a lot better support wise and no problem for me but clearly for some. It's football and bodily contact is normal in a crowd. But of course if these orchids leave it to the supporters that want to sing then that would help. I couldn't believe one big game where 4 or 5 from the Glum family hogged the front row and hardly smiled or clapped or cheered at all even for a goal.
