The Kit
To save clogging up the Mickey Moore thread with a kit discussion I thought i'd make a separate thread.
I do believe that the club made a bad decision to use black and white as the kit colour, and even if we had to use these colours why play in such a plain kit?
Anyway after a hour or two of complete boredom, I decided to take matters into my own hands and design some kits of my own.
if we do have to keep the white and black why not be inventive about it?

However, I do believe that the home and away kit colours should be swapped around, but again the current kits are a bit bland, especially as we have such a prestigious kit manufacturer.

my favourite for a new home kit would have to be.

I'm not a fan of the black and white kit either; even the germans are playing in better variations nowadays (like their very smart black kit).
But the classiest kit for me on show at the World Cup is (inappropriately) the Argentine's. Love the pale blue stripes on what is basically our boring kit. The dutch have the advantage of the tradition of orange so really do have a strong brand there. We get Bolton!
I do like your black and white striped shirt at the top.

I might have a play with some, but I think you've basically covered all of the bases. Some good variations on what is at the moment a very simple and boring kit.
Edit - Just realised my photoshop and my kit template pack are on my knackered old desktop 
Tandy has done a lot of good designs anyway, I don't think I'd really be adding much to them.

Tandy...you want to get out more.
Anyhow I liked your designs (except for Villa looking shirt). I think the top two are the best & will be perfect for next season playing in the Conference Premier.

who decided on white and black anyways? if they wanted an independent colour, why not mix the blue of moor green and the red of boro and have a purple kit, or red and blue stripes. i'd be different but better than plain white

I did suggest the purple/mauve option at the time. Apart from Fiorentina I can't think of many others in this distinctive colour, and was what my point about the dutch orange was about.
I tend to agree with Keith (again) about the idea of a contrrasting colour sleeve being low class.

Psycho - It was the club directors at the time that decided on the colours of the kit. I actually said at the time that I would go with green and white and didnt want to go Red and Blue (whilst most people would consider Red and Blue to be the magical Barcelona, it just reminds me of Hinckley United) !
From the kits that you have done, I prefer the second black and white kit and the "simple and modern" yellow kit.
