Yet again this system does not remotely work away from home. We really shouldn't be struggling to get hold of the ball against Aldershot.

We look so shaky at the back, players just don’t look comfortable🤷‍♂️

Gleeson, Ball and Stoz are anonymous in the midfield.

Got one back tho.....

How many games do we need to lose on the road until the penny drops for Shan?

I thought we played well, so did the Aldershot commentators! Considering the wind the only way to play was along the floor.

We were much better second half, but for all but the first ten minutes of the first half we were very poor. Not keeping the ball, shaky at the back, Gleeson and Storer very ineffective and unable to get a hold on the midfield.

For me, the big difference second half was Maycock coming on. Dragged the whole team fifteen yards up the pitch to have someone in the middle with legs and forward drive.

In the end we were unlucky to lose, but we shot ourselves in the foot with that first half performance.

Struggling to feel too upset about going out; given that last season's Trophy has yet to conclude, I don't rate this edition's chances of running its course. Then again one could say the same of the League...

Definitely better in the second half, Maycock made a difference, really don’t think Stoz, Gleeson and Ball offer that much at present (Ball’s tap in noted).

Still trying to play too much football at the back which led to the foul for the free kick.

Thought the full backs played well and Hudlin continues to impress. Considering it’s our first game in two weeks we kept on plugging till the end.

I’m also not that bothered we’re out, gives us time to play our league games and means we don’t have to upset the chesterfield manager again.

3pts against Dover is a must.
