Completely laughable this is.

Some of the ideas they are trying to come up with.

Perez: we may need to look at shortening the games from 90 minutes as young people get bored and think games go on for to long

Could involve the national league this aswell as if the plans go ahead ( they look likely) all English clubs involved will possibly be relegated to the national league.

Resignations are now inevitably coming.

Re: European super league

So all six English clubs have announced that they will not be taking part in the Super League which for me means that the ESL (or an equivalent) is dead in the water for many years to come.

I am not sure that had the ESL gone ahead , then the Big Six would have been relegated to the National League. If anything this would have allowed them to run a 'B' team in the National League and this in turn would then maybe allow them to have ESL games in different parts of the world, ie the Far East and the USA.

For me, English football needs to have a look at how it is being run.

The Premier League can continue to run itself the way it does, as long as it allows relegation from and promotion into it. I would say that maybe they should at bringing in a ruling that if in the future, any member team wishes to join another league, then they will need to withdraw their Premier League membership. This can be voted on by existing Premier League clubs as per their rules.

Regarding the rest of the pyramid, I think that divisions at all levels to be streamlined with 20 teams at each level, resulting in 38 league games in each division. I also think that regional divisions need to be brought in at a higher level then we currently see.

Unfortunately, I do not see this happening as clubs would be too fearful that they would be one step down the ladder. The term turkeys not voting for Christmas comes to mind.

My proposal of the divisions (and the relegation rules) would be:
Step One
Premier League (Three teams relegated at the end of the season)

Step Two
Championship (Three teams promoted to the Premier League. Three teams relegated to League One)

Step Three
League One (Three teams promoted to the Championship. Four teams relegated to Step Four)

Step Four
League Two North (Two teams promoted to League One. Three teams relegated to Step Five)

League Two South (Two teams promoted to League One. Three teams relegated to Step Five)

Step Five
National League Premier North (Three teams promoted to League Two. Three teams relegated to Step Six)

National League Premier South (Three teams promoted to League Two. Three teams relegated to Step Six)

Step Six
National League Division One North (Two teams promoted to Step Five. Three teams relegated to Step Seven).

National League Division One Central (Two teams promoted to Step Five. Three teams relegated to Step Seven).

National League Division One South (Two teams promoted to Step Five. Three teams relegated to Step Seven).

Step Seven
Northern League Premier Division (Three teams promoted to Step Six. Two teams relegated to Step Eight).

Central League Premier Division(Three teams promoted to Step Six. Two teams relegated to Step Eight).

Southern League Premier Division (Three teams promoted to Step Six. Two teams relegated to Step Eight).

Step Eight
Six Divisions

Step Nine
12 Divisions

Step Ten
24 Divisions

I would be happy for Play-offs to continue at each level where two or more teams are to be promoted and would be happy for them to use the system that the National League currently use where everything is done on one-leg with home advantage to the team that finished higher in the league. The finals for the play-offs in the EFL could still be held at Wembley but from Step Five down they should just be at the ground of the team that finished highest in the league.

This was an example of the Richer Clubs getting Richer & the Poorer Clubs getting Poorer.

However , Fan Power has taken precedent and kicked this idea into touch.

Perhaps, finally now Fans can purchase " shares " into an Enlish Club & have a proper say , on how their Club is being run !!.

Germany is an example of proper Fan Powr , with reasonable admission costs.
