I'm aware that the term could be thought of as humorous, much as say nobhead etc might be, but I don't think it is necessary to use the term on the forum and I'm reclaiming it as sexist. If it was the C word that had been used I would have deleted it straight away. Use something more sexually neutral please would be my request.

I just wish to add my opinion to the debate: the offending word, while being regarded as extremely offensive in the US is generally not so regarded in the UK but more on a par with prick, wanker, !@#$, pratt or jerk, referring to someone as more of an irritant or a fool. Oddly enough it was also the nickname of a fellow pupil at school in the 60s, with no sexual reference inferred. If you use it on Facebook you will be reprimanded or suspended due to the American algorithm recognising it as obscene - I've been suspended twice for using it there in what was obviously not an offensive manner. Finally I would point out that it is possible to set the profanity filter in the Control Box to one's personal preference if wishing to filter out offensive language.
