Recruitment agency. Need advice please if possible
So I did a few days work for a recruitment agency a good couple of months ago now. I ended up not going back as the work was very fast paced. 2 weeks ago a good 6 or 7 weeks after I had left i recieved a payslip for 392.04. Now this payment i was not owed so immediately I got In touch with the agency and paid it all back within the hour. Ever since I have had calls saying that the agency has not received my payment. But I know for a fact that I sent it to the correct details I was given. I have just tried getting in contact with the Co owner/director on Facebook and he just blocked me for simply asking him a question. ( i will admit i used the words you are complete idiots) The company that deal with the wages are constantly ringing me saying that I haven't paid it back and saying the the agency are saying that they have recieved no payment. I don't know what to do about it.

That’s the reason they have blocked you for calling them COMPLETE IDIOTS.Why don’t u email the company instead of asking questions on Facebook

I've sent them a text message. But had no response. The company that are chasing the payment have asked me to email them a bank statement showing proof that I have sent it which is what I've done. Still no response.
As you would imagine I'm started to get fucked off with it. But I am right. They are complete idiots. I'm speaking the truth. They paid someone else's wages to me 2 weeks ago. I left them 7 weeks before. Utter jokers.

Hi Fildes.
If the agency have asked for the money via an email you have done the right action by replying that way with the bank statement.
If they email you again refer them back to the email.
If they call you, refer them back to the email.
Oh, and don’t message any of the staff via Facebook or any other Social Media.
This advice is free. Next time I will charge you £392.03 and will confirm this in an email.

I agree with Statto and would add that you include the account details, sort code and account number, that they sent to you and that you paid the money into. If they sent you the wrong details, that's their problem, not yours. I would also suggest that you let them politely know that as far as you are concerned the matter is closed and if they want to contact you for any reason, to do so only by email and that you will invoice them for £40 per response. Keep copies of all communications and particularly the proof of the transaction.

The company that pays the wages on behalf of the agency. Someone somewhere has fucked me over because I've paid any outstanding monies back. Literally within the hour of wrongly being paid it in the first place.
It's either a massive system eff up or the person I've paid it too has said nothing and kept it to himself.
I've sent proof once again earlier waiting to see what happened next.

Re: Recruitment agency. Need advice please if possible
Sit tight, if you've followed their instructions you have nothing to worry about. Buy yourself an invoice book from a stationer's and invoice them for say £50 for returning the payment issued to you in error and quote their instructions back to them. You should also contact your bank to confirm the recipient's details when you made the transfer, get them to send you a copy of the transaction details. It is possible that your bank made a mistake and if that's the case they are obligated to make good any loss. You may have to do all this in writing, which is actually the best way to do it as there will be a tangible record of everything. I would also tell them that you won't accept any phone calls regarding the situation, only written communications, that way you just tell them politely that you won't accept the call and immediately put the phone down. If they keep ringing you, block them.
